Urology Awareness Month is an annual campaign running in September to raise awareness of urology diseases.
Every September The Urology Foundation hosts Urology Awareness Month to raise awareness of urology diseases including bladder, kidney, prostate and male reproductive cancers and non-malignant conditions including incontinence, urinary tract infections (UTIs), erectile dysfunction and kidney stones. It is an opportunity to bring together the urology community – researchers, urologists, nurses and allied healthcare professionals, influencers and decision makers, patients and their families – and all those with an interest in urological diseases.
The theme this year is Men’s Urology Health Urology: Myths and Legends. From prostate cancer, testicular cancer and all urology cancers to bladder issues, erectile dysfunction and kidney stones, we’re urging males to recognise when something’s not right below the belt and ‘Be a legend’ – speak out to get help.
