Support for low-income households in Portsmouth

Switched On Portsmouth is run by Portsmouth City Council to provide Portsmouth, Gosport and Havant residents with a number of ways to save energy, money and carbon. Residents can receive:

Through working with a number of organisations they are able to provide a number of initiatives to help residents save money on their energy bills and improve energy efficiency in the city.

Switched On Portsmouth acts on Portsmouth City Council’s Energy and Water at Home Strategy, the aim of which is:

To ensure all homes in Portsmouth use energy and water as efficiently as possible for an appropriate level of comfort, safety,
health and dignity; and that every Portsmouth household can afford their energy and water bills.

This scheme is available to elderly residents, and households with a low income. 

The schemes are first come, first serve to residents that meet the eligibility criteria.
